Seven years have passed since the ongoing Egyptian revolution, and it is still facing the counter-revolutionary forces that rely on corrupt money and treacherous weapons to establish themselves and place the true revolution in the category of the pursued. What are the revolutionaries’ options in light of these challenges? Writer Mustafa Al-Badri answers this in his blog post published on Al Jazeera Blogs.
Seven years have passed since the beginning of the popular movement to resist the tyrannical pre-Islamic era that resides above our heads, and anyone who looks at the situation at the beginning of the eighth year is not optimistic about the outcome, as he sees only more blood, arrests, and persecutions. Rather, perhaps many have begun to view the opinion of Ruslan and his followers as a rational opinion and sound judgment, as it is not permissible to rebel against the overpowering ruler, and it is obligatory to listen and obey him “even if your back is flogged and your money eaten.” Perhaps Many have also begun to think about concluding reconciliation with Sisi and his regime in Egypt, claiming that they are the people of trouble and victory, and that reform will only happen from within the military establishment. The first team has barely begun to search for an appropriate way to announce its apology for the idea of the revolution and its repentance from it, and that it will seek change and reform through the constitution and the law. Until Raslan shocked him by saying: Al-Sisi must remain a guardian for life, and no one may contest his position, and therefore it is forbidden to run against him in the upcoming presidential elections!! (Of course, if there is such a thing in Egypt as elections at all). The second team has barely begun drafting the reconciliation document, considering that the military regime will be happy with it – or will accept the idea at the very least – until the regime shocks them by carrying out a series of liquidations and executions, declaring to them that the battle is a zero-sum eradication, and that it will not accept pure or just justice from them. They must declare their complete surrender on his terms and dictates without any restriction or demand from them, and that he is the one who decides the fate of the detainees and persecuted, so he pardons whomever he wants, whenever he wants, and however he wants. He wants, and punishes whomever He wants, whenever He wants, and however He wants, and the two companions return back, confused, thinking, and wondering (or as Abdel Halim Hafez said). I do not see that the problem of the two groups lies in a misjudgment of the positions or a lack of success in choosing the timing, but I do see that they do not know anything about the nature of the ongoing conflicts between truth and falsehood, as if none of them had read the Qur’an once, or had not studied the biography of a single prophet of God!! The pre-Islamic era refrained from eradicating the calls to truth at the beginning of their inception due to their small size on the one hand, and then did not fear them or worry about their authority and ownership, and sought to contain them, domesticate them, and try to employ them to serve their interests on the other hand, until when the signs of the call’s growth and the emergence of its cause appeared, the fierce war {And when those who plot against you They disbelieved so that they may defeat you, or kill you, or expel you. {Burn him and support your gods, if you will.}, {We will kill their sons and keep them alive. their women, and We are subjugated over them}, {Leave me to kill Moses and let him call on his Lord}. In the story of the people of the groove, the origin of which God mentioned in the Qur’an, and the details of which the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – mentioned, the king tortured his blind sitter until he led him to the boy, then he tortured the boy until he led him to the monk, then he bargained with the monk and after that he killed him, then he did the same thing with his sitter, then he tried to kill the boy in various ways but was unable. Until the boy showed him a way to kill him that would make people believe, and the people actually believed, so the king killed them without caring, because he was supported by the international community, which permits the killing of Muslims, no matter how peaceful and weak they are. If some mocked the insightful professor Hazem Abu Ismail when he said: Whether or not my success in achieving the presidency will affect the nature of the president and the next American regime, then the days have proven the correctness of his vision of events. When revolutions succeed and achieve gains in the face of oppressive and oppressive regimes, the great powers need a policy of flattery and playing under the table. However, when peoples are defeated and criminals are empowered, then there is open playing, hitting above the belt, declaring to fight Islam and Muslims, and trying to exploit the opportunity to finish off the remaining remnants. From the idea of resistance in it. It is currently being seen in America, Europe, Russia, and China, as well as Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Yemen, and attempts on Türkiye are continuing. The reality of revolutions is actually painful – and no one denies that – and hearts have reached their throats and doubts about God Almighty have increased, and those who are accustomed to bowing their heads and directing their eyes towards their feet look at the graphic curve and see it now in the direction of decline and decline. They are pessimistic and repeat: We have no power today with the global system and its agents and soldiers, and some of them say: O people of preaching, you have no place, so surrender. The best of them says: When will God give victory? As for the people of faith, pride and certainty, they say: {This is what God and His Messenger promised us, and God and His Messenger have spoken the truth, and it has only increased them in faith and submission}. They are waiting for tomorrow when they say: “Today we invade them and they do not invade us.” I would like, as this is the case, to give an example of the diseases and pains that afflict the human body, where the serious diseases that gnaw away at the body and consume it until they almost destroy it have little apparent pain, while broken limbs and superficial wounds are so painful that a person can hardly bear them – and this is exactly our situation – the occupation and its agents are gnawing at the body of our nation like a cancer and seeking to eliminate it. If we wanted to treat this cancer, we would be surprised by the pain of chemotherapy, the damage of radiation, and the pain. surgeries, and despite this, rational people insist on completing the treatment process, Rather, those planning to undergo open-heart surgery sign a statement disclaiming the doctor’s responsibility in the event of death or failure of the operation. The survival of these regimes only means the death of our nation little by little, and continuing to resist and confront them is the only option, no matter how much pain and agony we suffer in the process. And if continuity has its toll, then surrender means doubling this tax, knowing that this tax is inevitable, such that if the nation thinks about doing the same thing again, even after a hundred years, it will pay the tax whether it likes it or not. I swear there is no intention behind it.
