Manouba University hosts the activities of the International Forum of the Institute of Journalism and News Sciences

The Institute of Journalism and News Sciences at the University of Manouba in Tunisia launches the International Scientific Forum under the title Media, Communication and Cultural Diversity, and it continues from April 4 to 5, 2019. The conference aims to consider the nature of the role that media and communication systems can play in recognizing and enriching cultural diversity, and to what extent the media and communication today can contribute to managing and managing cultural diversity in society. The conference includes four themes: media and communication expressions within cultural diversity, the image of the self and the other in media and communication discourse, modification and self-modification of cultural diversity issues, and cultural diversity within the networked society. According to the draft of the conference, the conference will review “the relationship between media, communication, and cultural diversity, and the cognitive field and intellectual field it opens up to, from the anthropology of communication (Winkin 1996) to ethnography, and from cultural studies to the archeology of knowledge.” The conference also reviews “media and communication sciences in their general form by studying media and communication contents and systems and researching the contexts of media production.”
